sounds about right Paul, typically around 1.05/ltr euros on the autoroute. Concensus is it makes your car run better than UK diesel, partly due to its higher bio content - they've been into that stuff much longer and more widely than we in the UK so they are better at it. I've always found it to be
true.

That contrasts with unleaded which is more expensive than UK. I always try and arrive at Dover or Portsmouth in the T2 with an empty tank and fill up immediately I get over there, ditto coming home with a full tank ....went in summer with the beemer (petrol) and it was a compete about-turn! :doh

How were you thinking of using it in the UK? Strictly speaking you're not even allowed a spare fuel can (full) on the ferries these days....Paul.

Diesel is much cheaper than petrol in france, less tax I suppose, I was buying it for between 86 and 90c this summer this was supermarket price, filling station more expensive. I did just under 4000 miles towing on the stuff, the T2 liked it, 26mpg mostly towing. regards.... bri
