With the T2 back on the road, and with being fed up having no work bench or proper place to put all my tools, it is time to think about workspace improvement.
At the moment I have the luxury of a 4.5 by 7m garage. Temporary work bench on the long side, together with entrance door to the rest of the house. Tiled floor on a 25cm thick reinforced concrete slab, brick walls all around, ceiling is wood construction, automatic gate at the front. At the back is my wine rack, have to be careful there. Unfortunately the garage is not high enough to install a car lift :(

2 things to be done for sure: improve lighting (currently not enough light) and install work bench. So, show me yours :). Looking for ideas on layout, lighting, power outlet placement, workbench construction ideas, ... you get the idea.

Our old kitchen is unfortunately already in use in the 2nd part of the garage, where the washing machine and the freezer live - needed sink and workspace there for butchering any game I get to take home in the shooting season.

Nice car by the way, I always liked the 300C :)

Thanks it's a Hoot to drive in a straight line the torque is awesome.
The estate versions are getting scarce as they stopped making them for the UK market prior to stopping Chrysler imports altogether this year.

The Garage is 18 ft wide and 20 ft deep internally and I have a boarded loft to store stuff we should probably throw away ...........but you never know when you might want those old bits of offcut plastic pipe, skirting board, drainage pipe unions, old wall lights, tins of paint, drain rods, wooden drawers, spare wall and floor tiles etc etc ! lol
