I know anythings possible :augie

But

How easy is it to remove or leave idle the "mechanical fuel pump " & replace it with an "electric " one.?

Do-able or not.?

Pros / Cons.?

Do you mean replace it with a fly by wire pump? if so forget it, if you are talking lift pump? you do not have a separate one, it is part of the injector pump, Rick

Why????

If the Pump just a lift pump??
Ie only to get the fuel to the Injector pump.. which then creates the pressure to the injectors! Bypassing this should not cause any problems!!

If the mechanical pump generates silly pressures for the injection system I would leave well alone and find the cause of the problems!!

Mr Nissan spent millions of pounds developing the system! so it would take a genius to come up with a solution better than that for 20 quid!!

Just curious with mine & several others having fueling problems :nenau
