fuel sender

hi i have a 2002 terrano 3.0di with the return pipe on the sender leaking the pipes are steel on this type of sender i have noticed a few on ebay which all seem to be plastic although hard to tell in most pics would an earlier type sender fit my truck not too bothered about having to re wire the plug as long as the values are the same.

does anyone know if all the tanks are the same for terrano and maverick i realise most run the 2.7 but im new to the terrano so learning what works and what doesnt also long jorney to the nearest 4x4 breaker so need to know before i go

no i bought mine from a mate a few months back i knew what i was getting in to but the rest of the car is mint bought it with 1 months mot adjusted the front hubs and fitted a bulb job done just the running to sort now lol

Tanks should be the same on all Terrano diesel, I replaced my leaking one with "a Terrano" tank off Ebay works fine and doesn't leak!

When changing the tank I noticed one of the pipes on the sender was in a bad way thought I had got away with it until drip drip drip....

Ended up buying a genuine one £200+
