Whilst in my never ending search for a replacement I thought I would try to repair it,cleaned the ends off and drill out the banjo so the pipefits in. What's best to stick it with, tried chemical metal, lasted about 2 miles lol

Assuming the banjo is not some weird alloy? I think you may need to get better flux and completely de-grease and clean.

Use liquid weld in the end and it's been ok. Got a replacement on its way so hopefully sorted

it will not last, brazing/silver soldering is the only way, but if you have sourced a replacement all will be well, Rick
