O.K now i might be being a bit thick, what size fuel line do i need to replace the old one?
 
DON'T quote me on this but I think its 8mm
 
cheers adz, i thought it would be a simple step of order some n get the job done, then there was like 10 billion different sizes to choose :doh:nenau
 
Check with a measure " if " ya gonna cut a piece out of your existing pipe :thumbs

If its a pipe then cut the leaking part out & replace with hose :thumbs

If its hose then remove & replace :thumbs



Only fuel leak i had was the injector rail & that took me bloody ages to track down :doh :eek: :augie :lol
 
so i only need to cut out the bits thats naffed up then? cool thats gonna save loads of time, thought i would have had to replace the lot :thumb2 :D
 
the £10 membership fee was so worth it i wouldn't have know where to begin if it wasn't for this forum :thumb2

I knew jack $hit about diesels n 4x4's (some would say still do) till i came here :bow

Now i know the basics & the rest is common mechanical sense :thumbs

I think from what i read on here that the fuel lines & brake pipes are prone to corrosion but are easily fixable :thumbs

Its not a big job old timer :augie :lol

Had to do mine when i 1st got it :rolleyes:
Then the bloody cylinders last year :(
Next year is definitely new callipers :mad: due to using " port power " :eek: to get the old pads out earlier this year :augie
 
ok i've ordered the flexi hose and the clips...........now who wants to fit them for me :jesterbg
