Fuel Filter warning light

Have just changed my fuel filter, and the fuel filter warning light is staying on !,it wasnt before I changed it,
and the 4 wheel drive light was flickering on and off.
Any clues Guys .

fuel filter light, mine did that. inside the filter is a plastic (white ) float type thing. mine was quite grubby so cleaned it . and it remained illuminated ever since ....

so really no clues :doh

but i was playing with mine yesterday with andrew, louisa's ex boyfriend . got the red truck going ... eventually. light still on :nenau so mght get more chance to look now its working

if your still stuck... but mine was running ok with the light on so dont worry bout it

id worry about the 4wd light flickering though. is it in 4wd when its flickering or 2wd

After I put new filter on I ran my son home and it started flickering !, 4WD lever was in 2WD

Will see how it goes when I go to work and report back !.

Given it started just after you did some work, I would be looking at a wiring disturbance of some sort personally :nenau

Removed the wireing from the fuel filter and cleaned it and the warning light has gone out,
4x4 light has not come on again, Job Done
