I have a 96 terrano deisel intercooled 5 door, live in Guernsey, narrow roads mostly town type motoring. My milage is 22.3 m/g any help! Is this normal?

Hi Gary,sounds about right m8,i get slightly more on short journeys,have got it to 29mpg on longer trips! :?

i have a 2.7 tdi 5 door 97 terrano and i get about roughly the same just doing local runs and about 27 to 30 on longer journeys.depends how heavy my right foot is.after i had it serviced i seemed to get a bit better mpg but its one of them things you get used to.you could check that the handbrake isn't binding and change the air and fuel filters and also make sure your tyres are the correct pressure and the exhuast isn't blowing(like mine)all these little things can make a difference but as i said its another cost of motoring we have to get used to :evil:
