There are threads on this subject if you type in the search bar for front wings. I think almost everyone has had rot in them lol

Some bolts along the top of the wing under the bonnet
A few behind the headlight
A few inside the door shut

Plastic spats are held in with large head self tappers & clips

Most yes, mine is the exception. 19 years old and in perfect order:thumb2
Waxoyl and hosing the wings, more especially after salt on the roads, has proven the best way to look after them:thumb2

I occasionally remove the plastic trim, clean, re-waxoyl, then re assemble.
Rear wheel arches too. On my Mav, the plastic trim is held on with a few pozidrive screws, which screw into plastic housings, 5 minute job.:thumb2.

I wondered when you would pop up rustic lmao. I forget, how long have you owned your Terry ;)

Ehehe, rustic, that's 2 in 2 days :naughty

Although that is pretty damn impressive...

It's worth noting that the pre-facelift wings do not have the holes in for the plastic arches to clip onto

This is when I relaised I needed a new one when I tried to fit my snorkel, note the holes for the plastic trim to clip onto;

When fitting the wing that I had re-sprayed from a pre-facelift I had to cut the clips off and panel adhesive it straight to the wing

Can't find the thread at the minute :S
