Oh dear i think my wing has seen better days, the 2 holes in pics i pushed through with my fingers so you just know its far worse than it looks.
Not sure whether to get a body shop to weld in new steel or try and source second hand wing. need to check other side too as thats probably as bad:(

If the rest of the wing is OK, then why not try getting it repaired, or if you are any good with the welder, you should be able to repair that :)

pete challenge wing yours, Will fit in nicely with a external roll cage too.

I might be buying a tube bender and notcher soon ;)

Yep mine are going back another couple of inches yet and may even tub them :sly
Exo cage planned soon with local dude but if you get bender soon I'll be a bothering you :lol
What size pipe will your bender manage?

2" all about the girth

hmmm, I could go down to 50mm I guess, do you know what wall thickness it can handle? Or is it a case of massahoosive lever reqd :D
When you thinking of this purchase? How much? Do you want a share holder ? :thumbs

Thinking about getting it tomorrowish, Will have to see. Not sure on thickness but it's a old type manual hydraulic bender so should bend fairly thick stuff. Hopefully without too much flattening of the tube, Also worth noting max 90 degree bends.

Would like a share holder but with my plans it's best if I own it fully as it will be used for a while on weekends ;)

A bit of lateral thinking....

Can't you buy plastic wheel arch extensions to cover the area:nenau

If so, you can first do a good solid repair, knowing that most of it wouldn't be seen under the flared arches.

just a thought, then that opens the door for wider wheels.:thumb2

EDIT there is a set for Mk I Patrol on ebay, £115

best regards,
Ristic

My trol has o/g equipment plastic extentions which were hiding most of the rust. If i have no joy finding a wing i will see my local body shop but dread what they might charge
