Front Fogs

I have started to get an intermitant problem with my front fogs.

when i have them on at night and dim main beams the fogs go off, then twiddling the light stalk it comes on and stays on. if i indecate and take the tur the stalk resets and the fogs go off again.

anyone else ever had this problem, done a search but got not topics.

sounds like you may need a new light switch stalk

It's probably not very helpful, but the stalk can fail. I had to change the indicator one on a Rover 214, whoch was as surprising simple job. Just a case of undoing the cowls arounfd the steering column and changing a self contained part.
