Front end rattle when on 2WD

I've had this rattle since i bought the car and have posted on here about it a few times.I've done the roll bar bushes/drop links,and checked the anti rattle clips on the brake pads,also had a good look around and can't see anything loose.I've just noticed today that it goes away when in 4WD.I'm sure i remember reading on here something about loose front hubs? Could someone clarify please,is anything about to drop off,how can it be fixed?

hmm, yeah, could well be those front hub clips??
