I have noticed I have some play in one of my front drop link (annoying squeak) and want to renew both at the same time, where's the best place to buy these, is it worth doing the ARB bushes at the same time, I have looked on ebay, but had problems with my rear drop link from there in the past.

One seller on ebay does state that his are made to OE spec Item number: 180901602865

Any thoughts

There are loads of threads on these drop links so have a check on the threads in the last 2weeks.

It was recommended to me to get a pair from Milners, a bit more expensive than eBay - but they will be decent ones.

Well, I changed the N/S/F drop link today, bloody job!, the ball joint fell apart so I ended up holding it with mole grips and undoing the nut, took for ever as there is only a tiny amount of room to move the ratchet.
Now it's done though, and the car feels tighter when driving.
The O/S/F appears to be OK, is it worth doing both at the same time, I do have another one, if so, I will do it when the rain stops:bow:bow

!

O i Put the pair on As they say if you had a broke coil spring you would not put just one of them on would you :doh So a pair is best :thumbs

No point replacing something that isn't broken, but if the old one has play or looks shagged out then replace it. There should be a flat in the surface of the bolt to stop the top turning and and allen key hole in the end of the bolt to stop the bottom turning. (or the other way round).
the ebay ones look expensive, doesn't matter what you buy they will not be oem quality unless you buy oem. And who's to say they will be any good ? I had to replace a new one after 6 weeks, got another from the same place and it's been on there 6 months !

The other one looks fine, I know what they say about doing things in pairs, but I didn't do the rears in pairs.
The nut on the ball joint was a right shite to get off, it was bloody solid and hardly any room to turn it,I just need to do the CV boot now...that don't look easy though, may pop it up to the local garage and see what they will charge??
