How hard is this to weld as i have it as a fail on the MOT for rot. It looks like its all lower around the engine side. Is it a weld it up or will it unbolt?

Im guessing the former. So what do i need to remove to get to it, as iv not had chance to get under it yet as i only had the pot from my broken hand removed on Thursday and im still trying to get full movment back.

we can make you a new one m8 using the one on my old chassis as a template,

I will be down Saturday then. Im guessing some 3 or 4mm plate should do the trick.

Hope to be taking truck round to my mate as he has a pit in his garage for me to work in. And it in side so i wont get wet. :lol

I had a pit in my old garage and when it rained we had to put more and more bricks under the planks at the bottom 'cause it would fill up with rain :doh Then one day the dog fell in it and got angry cross

on my old truck i had the same mot fail.
i cut the old one out and replaced it with a beefy piece of box section.just had to weld some lugs on it for the radiator to sit in.
alot easier than trying to weld up the old one.
