Hi Guys well here's the photos of my front end rebuild to get my old truck through the MOT this week, this isn't my project truck. Cost me £245 inc MOT.

Bumper Inner before it gets covered.


Finished!!! well OK bumper cover and grill to be fitted but you needed to see this bit.


So what are your thoughts? I like it and it looks nice and strong.

Opportunity to make several copies to recoup the design and development time.

Very nice, the only problem with making copies is there are 3 different styles to suite the differing plastic bumpers, but I like the tubular idea, better than plating up the original, Rick

I didn't realise there were differences between models, good point.

The actual cross members should still be the same other than brackets for air con.
Should just be the bumper reinforcement that will have major differences.

I suspect that I'll need to do something similar on my project car.

wow - that's a damn good price considering he's fabricated all that and fitting etc.i'm impressed, I'm definitely going to visit him for my MOT as I want a fair few bits doing.....
