Hi all,

Any pointers to removing the front bumper please?

As long as it doesn't involve a big hammer and some scaffolding pipe!! :lol

Also replacing front and rear drop links?

That's Terrano tools, for a 'Trol you'll need a scaffolding hammer and some big pipe. Totally different procedure.

I'm not helping am I?

:doh

I'll go now.

Dead easy two bolts each side. Remove the rubber inner wing protector, doesn't need to be the plastic thing that goes over top of the arch.
You'll see the bolts in the vicinity of the front body mount. Read through my project thread theyll probably be shown on there but there are at least two previous threads one by me regarding their location so check out my profile at threads started by me and youll find it.

Once bolts removed the bumper simply slides forward, easy enough as a one man job but far better with two people.

Then stand back and look at all the rust you've just uncovered:doh

oh goody......i so look forward to all that rusting that will have to be dealt with!!!

No actually i am looking forward to getting my hands dirty again, been in an office job for the past 2 years and i'm getting RSI from a damn keyboard.

there is 1 bolt on each side, top one if i remember that are longer than the 1 each side lower bolt, take out completely rear lower bolt only undo top bolt as it is easier to slide bumper in again,do remove the indercaters first though.
