Ford Terrano 2.7TD For Sale

My other half has decided to replace her Terrano so i thought I'd stick a post up here as well as Gumtree. She's looking for about £1250, but is open to sensible offers.

I was half tempted to get rid of my car and keep this, but two 4x4s probably isn't very practical. Then there'd be the diesel costs... :lol

Ford Maverick 2.7TD SWB 4x4, 1994 (L reg), 79,000 miles, blue/grey

3 door, 5 seats, manual, cloth upholstery, radio/CD player, power steering, allow wheels. 2H, 4H & 4L driving modes. Recently changed air and fuel filters, cleaned injector pump filter and changed thermostat.

MOT until mid Feb, Tax until end of March

Obviously the title should read Ford Maverick, not Terrano. It's been a long day

people will want to know service history, previous owners and general condition of chassis and body work.

Anyway looks cracking, SWB ones are very sought after for offroading

I'll dig out the paperwork for it tomorrow, I think it's had 9 owners. Don't think there's much in the way of service history. Since we've had it I've done the basic stuff myself and it's had the fuel line and one of the front brake callipers replaced at MOTs. Bodywork is generally good (I'll grab some more photos at the weekend), rear bumper is a little loose at one side and the back door seal could do with being replaced.

looking very nice indeed.

I would focus body work pics on the sills, inner arches, inner wings and rear boot area, although generally strong, these are the weaker points in terms of rust.

looks good I have to say, you can see clearly the rear boot area is good in those pics, and the outer wings arent scabby which for these, is a bonus!!

good luck chap, should get a buyer for that easy, hold out for your money though!

Dug out the paperwork for it. 9 previous owners listed on the V5, but no service history. Just the MOTs certificates and garage invoices since we've had it.

Thanks for the tips on the photos, I'll grab some more on Saturday. Don't think there are any obvious problems, I think it's had a pretty easy life (it certainly has while we've had it)!
