I have noticed that the mud flaps and end caps on my man steps are getting rather grotty, so I had a look on the tinternet and found this stuff. I have tried other products over the years, but this is instant and so far has kept the deep original colour of the plastics

Before

After, but not finished

Ready for caravan action, next to the latest toy

Looks good, I have tried Armour all but that needs regular top ups.

Just one caution, if you catch the sole of your shoe on them, then you could slip off the brake pedal, or on smooth vinyl surfaces when you are out and about.
Silicon based products seem to hang in there for a very long time, which is great for most applications, but a hazzard if on your shoes.

I once used the silicon based spray for tyres on my painted garage floor, boy oh boy... an area a metre square from the overspray was lethal, I now use cardboard on the floor.

On my hands and knees with a solvent to try and clear it.
