Weller Deep Dish 8J 15" Rims with BFGoodrich tyres fitted (31 10.50 15) they tyres are pretty much scrap hence me replacing them but the wheels are what you are really buying here :thumbs

After the effort of having them shot blasted and powder coated and ferried here there and everywhere I'd like £100 for them

Yeah but Elty said that you're running 33 10.50 15's whereas my new Cooper Discoverer STT's are 33 12.50 15 which won't go on a 7J rim so I'm getting some 10J's :thumb2

But yeah they do look sexy!!!!

Pics of new tyres n rims:nenau

Last page of my project thread matey, link in my sig, they are on 10J Jeep rims at the moment, brand spankers almost and looks like I'll fetch £150 for them if I'm lucky

Do they fit a standard truck with no mods?

Well all I had to do was rip the mudflaps off to fit my 31's and there was no catching even before I lifted the front back up with the torsion bars and did the 2" body lift, that just made the gap in the wheel arch stupid hence why I'm trying to fill it with some 33's :thumb2

The 12.50 fit 7j, a few bearded worriers as usual :augie

Hundred of people running this setup with 0 issues. :thumb2

Anywho good luck with sale.

It's not whether they fit or not, it's the handling once they're on:nenau

I don't have a particular view as I've never tried it but I've read plenty views either way tbh bud :nenau

So what you are saying is if a manufacturer of a tyre or many people in the know suggest a certain width rim tyre width width you will just disregard it because it worked for a few other people?

Potentially putting yourself or others at risk if it effects handling?

:doh

Surely putting a 12.50 on a 7J rim is very dangerous as you wouldn't have the full surface area of the tyre touching the road, I can bet that the handling isn't great either

I would have thought that going against manufacturer's advice would, at the very least, invalidate any warranty and possible have insurance consequences of a negative flavour. :nenau

Best thing to do is look on the tyre manufacturer's web page. They often have a page with all their tyre sizes and specs with what range of wheel sizes they recommend.

Quite often a 12.50 tyre is narrower and wheel sizes range from 8" to 10" with the ideal size being 9, so persons choice whether you go 8 or 10.

Depends what you plan doing also, putting it on an 8" should allow you to run lower pressures off road than a 10" without the need for beadlocks.

If the tyre is a good 12.50 then yes 10 but never a 7, I think that might be pushing it, but all depends on the real life size.

All personal views of course :thumbs

Sorry, old thread. Just seen the date
Was just browsing the classifieds :augie

BongoBerry has been sent a PM on these now as he asked first.

However if there is anymore interest in these, they are now available and ready for collection whenever :naughty

Tyres are totally shot though

OK these are for sale now to the first person who replies :thumb2

After 100 for them tyres are dead, the Peak District group will vouch for that :lol

But the wheels still look as fresh as when they came back from the powdercoaters and look stunning in the sunlight even better when wet, Patrolman will vouch for that :thumb2

I paid what I'm asking for them to get them powdercoated alone so a bargain.

Biggest tyres I'd recommend on these is 31 10.50 15's on a standard truck but even then you'll have to remove front mudflaps and maybe jack the front up on the torsion bars a little, easy enough job.

Certainly give the truck a nice stance as can be seen in the pics on first page and will certainly lift the truck a little on those boots

Someone make me an offer, I'm skint after just moving out from home and haven't really got the space to store them in the garage, no offers these are cheap as chips

Wheels now sold pending payment :)

Back for sale guys

Here's some up to date pics, appears one has developed a slight rust patch no bigger than a 50p piece, these are genuine Wellers as can be seen stamped in the pictures.

I cannot be any more honest with the listing, the pictures were taken this evening, I know I would say this but these are a bargain for genuine Wellers

This is the only bad bit on all 4 wheels

Someone must want them :nenau The stance you get is nice as can be seen in the pics in the 1st post of this thread compared to a standard Terrano alloy
