can anyone tell me why i have a red flashin light driver side by windscreen i dont think theres an immobaliser or alarm on truck thanks darryl:bow

Do you have a red dot on the ignition key? if so it's for the immobiliser.

no my key looks like an old ford escort key but the little torch has been removed

nats 1 - about as much use as a third t@t

mine goes after I lift the bonet - disconnect the alarm - its monday the moon is full

the red flashing light on top of the dash should go out when you turn the ignition on, this means you have a chipped key, and a NATs 1 immobiliser, this means without your key the car will not run for more that a couple of seconds, if it is started three times in a row without the proper chipped key, it will be locked and even the correct key will no longer work, this is quite separate from the alarm system, NATS 1 can be bypassed, but only if you know exactly how, so it does make it a difficult car to steal, NATS 2 cannot be bypassed, Rick
