My MIL is flashing like a strobe light after the weekends activities :doh
Anybody know what this means?:nenau

A flashing check-engine light generally indicates that there is a failure in the emission control system.

Hi Fez, it may do but I'm confused by the light "Flashing" :augie
Usually it just comes on and stares at me :lol
So I wondered if it's trying to tell me something else :nenau
No panic at the mo as I'm ripping the bottom arms off next , then the body lift and more welding :doh :lol

Oh, I haven't got one though :augie Do you know which sensors tell the ECU that ?

Not actually started this bout of welding yet, but I will disconnect and see if it resets though:thumbs
Cheers :D

no it doesnt. it means to cheak engine e.g......cheak its still there:lol

ANSWER:
Put more oil in it :doh
Just been doing a bit of mud shoveling out of the engine bay, fuel filter, air filter etc. So checked water too and oil :augie
Dip stick was either too short or I'd lost my oil somewhere :(
Anyway, filled it up again and bingo, the light's stopped flashing :D
And relax............................:splif

Well these vehicles use very little oil, unless it is the wrong grade, so either you are loosing it via a leak, or you never put enough in, in the first place....

OR some could be leaking past the Turbo, when you switch off does the engine carry on running a while..?

No run on :thumbs
I was used to the fact it used no oil, so as you say something is up :augie
I wonder if the LPG is affecting the oil somehow :nenau
