fitting spacers on the rear springs how do you do it ?

hi guys can anyone explain in an idiot proof way of fitting them.

not really done any mechanical work on the truck before.

but do all my own serving on my 530d bmw so know my way around a car just not my lwb 2.7 tdi terrano

any help would be great guys

Jack up the back , wheels off, shocks off then let the axle down till the springs are away from the body . Oh if you've got ARBs then take them off too.
Stick your spring packer thing in there and jack up the axle again, re fit shockers etc :thumbs
 
Don't talk to me about springs. My Zed has just been diagnosed with BOTH rear springs busted at only 37k miles. Dealer wants £180 just for the TWO springs and another £100-odd to fit the buggers.

Yet Eibach - highly respected spring manufacturer - will do a set of FOUR lowered (30mm) springs of superior quality for around £140 which I can get fitted (all four) in Welsh Wales for the same money.....how dumb is that?:doh
