hi guys got my 31`s fitted to a set of wheels sat morning still not had chance to turn up my torsion bars so tried to fit the bigger spare i thought id have trouble and did can sort the bumper clearance prob by only using the top 2 studs with the bottom half of holes but the wheel touches the wiper blade before it sits on the mount :doh
what solutions have you guys come up with?
i thought about stepping the mount out about 1 1/2" and up 3" but would like some inspiration

Think some have turned the bracket upside down. If you need more clearance betwwen tailgate and tyre could you fit somekind of spacer between the wheel bolts and the wheel?

Beat me to the punch.

I was going to go with fit a set of wheel spacers to the spare wheel bracket.

thanks guys they sound like good solutions I think I was over thinking it! saved me a lot of fabrication :thumb2
thanks

I managed to get my 33" tyre on a 10J rim on the rear door and only had to flip the bracket around :bow

I went for the spacer and lift on my T2, as reversing the mount made no difference, plus I needed to move it away from the wiper, and on Suz's, I made a welded bracket, as it meant I could put a mount on it for the PMR aerial.
