I had mine re-gassed and it still blows warm, probably a leaky pipe but i can't be arsed and it's feeling like winter here today :nenau

waste of time

I took my ac belt off when i did my water pump, still gonna rip it all out at some point as it clutters the engine bay

yep real men just wind the window down or in my case take the shell off the chassis :lol:lol:lol

think you would have to change everything, not just the hard stuff, but the entire engine loom and I think the ecu as I believe it controls the AC as well, there are various sensors that need to wired in or it will not run, Rick

Fair enough, I'm not going to bin the AC system. I might fit the AC header box and matrix as I need to pull dash out sometime anyway, just not have it plumbed in. As I might find a way to do it in the future

you may find that easier said than done, the ali pipes corrode and usually shear when you try and undo the nuts, Rick

Ryan, what age is your scrap T2? I know your current truck is similar vintage to mine and therefore there isn't anywhere near as much electrickery involved generally anyway.

Dunno what there is behind the AC in mine, all I know is I press the button and a cool blue light comes on - sadly that's the only cool thing about it! Too many other niggles to sort before I get to AC.

Personally I'd love AC in mine but then both my window motors are knackered!!
