We had some in south Bucks, no laying or anything like that though, just a flurry.
So glad I have a 4X4 for this time of the year

October snow in England... That's the earliest I can recall.

Once it snowed late November on my sister's birthday, and that was the earliest I can recall prior to this, having said that, it didn't snow here in Staffordshire last night.

I know back in 1976 or was it 75? We even had snow in Wroxham Norfolk in mid June.

It's not the cold weather that bugs me, or the snow and ice, it's the shortage of daylight I hate.

The clocks going back doesn't help either.:doh

with you on the daylight, sometimes wonder what it would be like averaged out
all year round, of course that mean no seasons, mind thats uk anyway 12 month
rainy season. lol.
