I am pretty happy, thanks!

Everyone likes the mirror, it is cut from the back before the silver was applied, you wouldn't believe the silly prices I've been offered for it, and it is one of a pair :thumbs

Nice one grandad. And a bit of Royal Albert in the cabinet?:)

and three sets economically purchased on fleabay LOL. Can't beat a PROPER cuppa :thumb2

I bought a whole load of it, all boxed, form a bloke who didn't realise what it was :augie You are right you can't beat real china, our kitchen is full of orchard gold, but at £60+ each for a tea cup it makes washing up a bit nerve wracking

I really like Aynsley...I got a set of five teacups and saucers a few years ago cheap as chips which I suspect were quite old...no pattern name or owt and just the inside was covered in tiny individual roses..sadly we are down to a set of two now as I am a firm believe in using and enjoying such things, so accidents happen :doh

yep, tea tastes sooo much nicer from a proper cup, what you can't see in the photo is the tea pot that matches the plates, or the Orchard Gold one I have for my caravan :thumb2

the OC one would be nice....I bought a 6-person RA Rose teaset like yours with all the bits for £50 on eBay....the seller was so pissed off they gave me a neutral rating even though I paid in full within five minutes of the end of the auction....ba5tards wouldn't get away with it now.
