faulty fuel flap

Hi All
Fuel filler flap won't open I assume the cables as streached not sure where to start taking panels of to gain access don't want to break the plastic

any one had this problem thanks

Hi all
I have made a start I managed to open the fuel flap by prising it open with a screw with the blade rapped in a cloth.

I found the fuel flap mechanism ok but the flap was distorted and jammed there was some marks on the top rim I think some one was after my diesel I managed to reshape it and its working ok again

phewww glad I didn'tstart pulling the panels of first

prior to this I rang nissan at doncater a new cable would have cost £52.90 and it would take a month for deliver as it was coming from japan

Assembled in "Spain" from parts made in Japan. :thumb2

Wow, to think someone was trying to get your fuel, well at over £100 a tankfull....
