Face lift upgrade ?

My brother has just carried out an upgrade of his 200 tdi Disco, so it now has the 300 tdi front, i.e. headlamps, grill and panels. It looks alot better now. Is it possible to upgrade the front of my 1995 Mav to that of later round headlamp model ? I especially like the chrome grill / mirrors. I don't think it's just a headlamp / grill change, as the leading edge of the bonnet is different. Anyone done this ?

Funny you mention that, I was up the scrap yard yesterday(finding bits to fix my broken mav )
The inside is the same so you could get the bonnet,headlamps and grill and bolt the bits on:thumb2
Going for the twin round lights myself with scoop bonnet to keep my new engine cooool:sly

Forgot to say I didnt check the bumper line though cause mine is in a tree!

ive a 1999 T2, was hopeing to chage front light surrounds to the chrome from a mav, but it didnt fit.

holes in the wrong place.


its posable but need the chage the lights and the light brackets too.

looked into it my self.you will need to change the bonnet ,front bumper(inc steel frame)headlights and grille(not sure if fixings are in same place)
thing is the line of the bumper is different where it meets the plastic arch trim on the front wing and its also a bit wider.
quite a lot of work for headlights that are not as good or bright as the ones you have got.

oh well, way to much work!

best fit extra light then ! and looking to getting what ive got chromed!
