I have wanted a work light at the back of the car for a while, but I am a bit OCD about cars being un-even, so I had to fit 2...

I got these off of Ebay, and I have modified them a bit, to suit what I want.

Firstly, the LED work light...

I have also fitted Amber LED bulbs, that double up as repeater indicators, and via a WigWag unit, can be used as flashing beacons when doing SE4x4r work.

and to finish the job off, I also added red LED halo's, which come on with the side lights.

The extra switches to control them, I decided to go for the ones that have covers over them, so I can't accidentally catch and turn them on, and the end of each switch there is also a nice bright LED to let you know they are on as well

Lastly, I found this really nice volt meter, so I can monitor the second battery, and it sits so I can see it perfectly just under the steering wheel.

Nice work:thumbs I think we need a small video of the lights working in the dark but you need to flash them all to some music:lol

Awesome im impressed. The switch looks like something out of men in black car :thumb2

Thanks...

The switches are right by the ignition, so I wanted something I would not catch accidentally. Not sure the police would be very happy with a pair of whites shining to the rear.

You have to lift the cover, and then flick the switch up, to turn it on, then as soon as you flick the cover down, it turns the switch off.

Very nice.:thumb2 I want some of those switches just so I can imagine im in a fighter jet:lol
Nice work with those lights too.:thumb2
