Was just wondering if anyone has fitted extra gauges into their T2 & where:augie I was thinking of getting an A pillar gauge pod but due to the shape of the pillar think it might look right but do have an idea for the A pillar if there isn't a better option

This is the sort of thing Ryan (96 terrano) would have been into, unfortunately he spends very little time here now.
How about a gauge pod on top of the dashboard, the sort of thing that Shoguns had.

I asked about one of those a while back and never got a responce, so I guess they do not do one for the T2, the extra hump stops you using after market ones that I found.

Extra gauges I fitted were Turbo boost, temperature gauge for the gear box, as when towing, I thought the box was getting too hot, in the summer on long drives with over two tonne on the back, but I found most of the heat came via the engine, and wasn't that hot after all.

I put these in the cubby hole below the radio, but now my Amstrad 901 (CB) sits there.

I also have an inclinometer, that I fitted a thin bracket to, that clips behind the central vent.

It is difficult to fit gauges and make them look neat, also to avoid drilling holes etc.

A low profile pod that could handle 3 or four 50mm diameter meters would be good, that could sit in the centree of the windscreen on the dash.
Preferably in grey.

I built the gauges into the centre air vents on my twin headlight T2 (still got the dash:augie) but for the later T2's i'm finding it harder to get the centre dash which isn't silly money:doh Thinking of buying a couple of single gauge pods & mounting them on the A pillar trim.
firebobby, Ryan is in love with all things volvo now & going to get his T2 crushed:eek::eek::doh I won't tell you about the blue neons that'll be going in then from my last T2 & hot hatches:lol

My danglometer in a single pod

and my 3 extra gauges in a mitsi modified pod
