Looking under the car today found the middle section of my exhaust rotten...

Mechanic said try and get a straight through pipe without the two boxes...

Is this possible and does anyone know where I can get one rather than making one out of 2" dairy pipe...

If you do get a straight through one or get one made, can you let me know where from and how much, I'm looking to do exactly the same just to make it sound gruntier

Must be the day for it as mine is on its way out and exosteve's has gone and we have been chatting about a straight through centre section.
Don't know of an off the shelf one but if that's 4 interested there maybe someone who would make a few up.

Count me in 100% for one if the price is right, preferably one that can bolt straight in as a replacement

The center box is the one which does the quietening so if it's to loud for you you could fit a free flowing silencer like a cherry bomb which will cut down the noise a bit:thumb2 My 05 T2 has only got the huge centre box & just normal exhaust pipe from the rear of it & it's no louder than any other T2
