ok so the back bracket came away from the rear silencer so took her to the local garage today to see if I could get a spot weld.... no such luck need a new centre box and back box :( having it fitted on Thursday morning. Cappie quoted me £99 all in, does anyone know if this is a good price? Thanks

Great, thanks for that Rick, I had kinda priced them up from Euro Car Parts as I suspected there may be a hole somewhere but wasn't quite sure, I'd checked underneath and could feel air escaping from around the center box but couldn't see the hole... there also seemed to be damage from where the bracket had come away but the exhaust felt sturdy enough, was just afraid the whole thing would bounce around and snap further down so secured it with a chain and bolt until Thursday :)

That's a brilliant deal, had I been offered that earlier in the year, I wouldn't have bothered doing it myself! Cost me £65 just for a centre box and then I had to roll around underneath to fit it.

yep I agree with you on that one, i have a Celica 2L ST202 and paid £250 for a complete stainless exhaust through and through but didn't have to roll around a pit to fit it LOL .. :)

Shiny new exhaust, took him 2 hours to fit as some idiot welded the flanges together on the old one in between the centre box and back box.
