Down in sunny Devon (not) I got quote from power flow they wanted £450 and that was just from downpipe back in 2.5"stainless steel. So bought my self a mig welder and buying all the bends and straight pipe and centre box from mod Turbo bend to back and costing so far £200 so i bought a welder for £400 i have always wanted to learn mig and now i can do so much more so i think well cheap custom exhaust

Exactly If you look on fleabay there's loads of companies selling exhaust bits cheap :sly

So what is the front pipe mod that we hear about?

On the terrano the outlet bend off the exhaust is mega restrictive and a poo design allround. So you bin that and get a nice big huge large like collector bend to go off the back of the turbo down to 2 1/2" outlet :sly Then the rest of the system is a doddle and should only cost you around 70/80 quid excluding the turbo out flange bit. That'll be around 175/200 quid

As a matter of interest I bought a box of miss shapes stainless steel 2 1/2 " exhaust bends elbows pipes etc for 30 odd quid off fleabay. Used about 5 fittings from the box. there's enough stuff for 2 or 3 more systems left over

How much for the bends I need 6 90deg bends also what grade of stainless steel

SIX good grief are you making a sculpture :lol
I only used one and a 45 degree ish one. I'll have a look in the box I've got but they're allsorts of bends. It's all top quality grade but will look them out tomorrow for the actual numbers :thumbs
You'll need a flexi join too and they're about 18 quid on fleabay :thumb2
