will it pass mot?

Im pretty sure its a yes, but dont know for your engine.

I have blanked my Nav's EGR resulting in the engine being much smoother. Its well worth it. Not been through a MOT yet, but I know plenty of blanked vehicles that have fine.

Yes it can be done mate, cant remember what the RD28TI EGR
valve looks like though. I can show you pics of the RD28T that
mine has, if its not the same i will try and fine the ones you need.

iv got a different engine, looking at them photos

do you have a solenoid that looks similar to that one tho?

it should be similar with the pipe to it possibly and could
be near your intercooler somewhere?

I'd like to do the same to our 1997 R20 tdi but the workshop looks to relate to the early non-turbo?

Anyone done an EGR blank on one of these?

If you have one Loulou it will be the same as the TD engine.
There is a strong chance you do not have an EGR valve fitted to your engine though.
