LWB and SWB are different so be sure which one you get.
Might also be a difference between petrol and Diesel.

Don't think that picture is for Terrano looks different to mine.

Milners do them, good for a guide price,, should be able to beat it though at any motor factors. Especially with carriage costs.

best regards, Rustic

They have an eBay shop but I cant find any listings, or even remember what they called it. They have a lad who's job is to handle the eBay side of things. They will post UK for £10. But I picked it up Fri and did it Sat AM
Just dug out my invoice from 20/7/12 :
Q 1 -PartNo = YESDN585 Terrano II 27TDI LWB 99- (Centre Pipe) £27.16
Q 1 -PartNo = YESDN590 Terrano II 27TDI LWB 99- (Tail Pipe) £14.59
Total inc VAT £50.10

I picked up a rubber hanger mount for the very rear tail - still not fitted as the old bolts just spin round, big Zip Tie - for £3.50 inc VAT. I forgot about the gasket for the middle to front join and also new bolts and clamp for the middle to rear, So I picked those up from a local (Halifax) exhaust supplier. DK Exhausts if anyone knows it up Pellon. Cheap. And he knew instantly what I needed, No guess work or checking books.
All fitted on my back with vehicle no jack. Straight forward job in Half a day, which for me was good going! I'm what you might call methodical instead of slow. :naughty
I need a front pipe now! :doh

Mine did exactly the same, seperated at the centre box. So you will need both Centre & Tail pipes.
The picture on your link is the centre box, but the description says rear silencer?
Same Shop as your link, but Tail pipe: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/?ViewItem&item=200825765420

rustic spotted the flaw, neither of those listings say which wheelbase.

I have just e-mailed the seller on ebay to check if this is for the SWB or LWB.

It looks like the right one to me.

The one on the ebay advert I linked to has a straight ending, the one on the other link has a flanged end. Mine has a pipe end so it would not fit.

The tailpipe was replaced last year and will not need replacing.

Milners price is £38+carriage +Vat = £58

oohh...ill make a note of this place chap, cheers!

Ah I understand what you mean about the flanged end, mine was the same, it pushes over the centre box and then clamped. whereas the link I posted, the tail pipe was a gasket/bolt end. Strange? :nenau

hope you get sorted, for not much money.

The LWB centre pipe part number that you need is DN585, but you probably know already.

I searched and searched... Had little money that week with Holidays due, so I was made up with the prices. ;)

Had a reply from the e-bay seller.

The exhaust on my link is for the LWB.

I'll give that company you mentioned a call first and then see who is the cheapest.

I'm hoping to re-use the u-bolts and use exhaust paste, but will i need to buy a new gasket between the flanges or is it a ring that joins the flange part together?

Same just happend to my mates T2 think he is going to order from milners.Or just chop the box out altogether straight through pipe it.

Cheers Gav

How can you remove the centre box, it is the only silencer in the whole exhaust system, surely it will be MOT failingly noisy ?

lots of people do straight through zorts and get rid of the centre box or as int he case of mine boxes

It will only fail an MOT if the noise is excessive.Know plenty of people with derv 4x4's running straight through pipes they have never had problems.

Cheers Gav

It's a gasket. No need for exhaust paste unless you want to. The new bolts I got were for the front-centre gasket join. I didn't like the look of them and I wanted to be sure I could really get them tight. :thumb2 I got a new clamp for the same reason, but yours should be ok if your tail pipe is newish.

Funny, mine's standard and I think it's LOUD

Anyone recently had a good fitted price for an exhaust by the major chains? (or locally near Edinburgh)

Got to drive to Rick's joint on Sunday (approx 500 miles away) so I'm probably not likely to have enough time to get it and fit it myself. Plus I don't really want to roll about in the snow/slush to do it.

Order one for uk delivery £10, ask a little man garage to fit it?? I asked ATS for a price for the centre and reat tailpipe... Computer says no, your registration does not show on our system.
Oh well it shows on your website when I do a tyre search.
