People want to take pictures of my truck!!!.

The Mrs caught some lads standing by it taking pictures of theselves with it in tesco.
I had a lad stop and ask if it was OK.

And this has happened a lot.

I guess its just georgous:D

I just sold my old wheels and I didn't realise how big my truck was until they parked a standard t2 next too it. And yes they wanted pics too:D

Awesome dude. Mine gets quite a lot of looks and comments, mainly on the aggressive look of it though, not as tall as yours :thumb2

mine gets looked at too, mainly due to it normally being covered in mud!

It's funny you should say that... we have had a lot of people comment on how good the truck looks with it's mods. I think the standard T2 is a bit dull, and people recognise those easily, so when they see one that has a few mods to "ruggedised" it, they appreciate the look.

We have had Search and Rescue guys say they want to travel in ours, as it not only goes to the same places, but has comfort as well... the choice was us or a green oval.:doh

I've also been nominated 4x4 response at the local care home I occasionally work at.
As its off the beaten track and difficult to get to in severe conditions.

Ferrying care staff and to cover any emergency breakdowns:D

I got a1000 questions when I visit the re cycling place as a few of the lads there want 4x4 's.
Best one was last year in Anglesey when a Chinese family all had their pictures took :lol
A very stereo typical image of Chinese tourists but true.

Once my snork goes on I'm gonna do the 4x4 response. I did consider it at the start of the year but my truck was not prepared! But now :sly

You don't need a snork for 4x4 response, or 35s for that matter
Just sign up and be useful

To do it properly you have to go and do a few days training with a local group.
I'm a bit sceptical about it as 4x4 drivers get slated until the bad weather comes then they want us.

Hey I look at it like this - I wanna play in water n mud, it's the perfect excuse and at the same time get to help people.

Saying that I'd let your local cyclists drown before I picked one of them up though :augie miserable gits...

mine used to get stared at an dpics took, since bein in wales though no one looks at it :( :lol

Ah what you have to do is get all the lights to work at the same time and switch them on in the day , then they'll look :lol

Depends on the other people in your area.

Last run i did for 4x4, was nurse from home to hospital, during the drive she let slip they had a freelander, but hubbie couldnt be bothered to run her in. For him 20 mile trip.
For me was 35 miles...

I was not happy

Time befor that the women complaind to me was 5 mins late, idid point out to her it was 2foot of snow on her road, she then called in to complain about my atitude. So i left her there. She didnt look to happy in the mirror.
I did call control. He couldnt stop laughingx even asked if i videod it.
