Modifications continue on the Patrol ready for the trip to Morocco in October. Two questions. What is your opinion on the best tyres and what CB system would you recommend.

CBs are much of a muchness really but would say make sure you get one that does all frequincys ie am/fm believe there is uk fm and another fm also.

Can't go wrong with some BF Goodrich all terrains, I prefer the older tread type.

Tyre Size

BF Goodrich All Terrains are very popular. My concern is that I currently have 275/65/17 tyres fitted on the Patrol and the only BF Goodrich All Terrains I can find are 265/65/17
Will this make a big difference? Will it be problematic in any way.? Advice would be appreciated

I've ordered some bf Goodrich 33" tyres which work out at same width but taller at around 85 :thumb2

Forgot to mention they are mud terrain :thumb2

They are smaller, don't know what the speedo's are like in the patrol but the Terrano one over reads by 10% so your speedo could become well out. Not sure if they do a 275/70R17 tyre if they do I would prob go for that
