engine had it?

i think theres a large problem with my terrano's 2.7

here's the problems:

1 turbo sounds strange, almost fluttery when at full power

2 the turbo pipe on the top of the engine is full of oil

3 rocker breather spits oil

4 alternator pump leaks oil

err what else....ohh aye

5 gearbox leaks

and

6 glowplugs have started taking along time to heat even though i changed plugs, ecu, and relays

don't know if these things can be sorted cheap but its started to worry me...more so as dad's going to be towing his rally car this weekend

That's your dad's driving that is I'd be inclined to let him drive it off and leave him deal with the outcome :augie

mmm, i think you're right, i have another engine if i need to rebuild it, its the gearbox leak that concerns me the most as i can't find gaskets on the net:doh

I know i bang on about it a bit, but what grade of oil is in the engine?

If it was that good, BP would have used "well seal" on the gulf of Mexico spill over a year ago. :lol:lol:lol
