Does anyone know the location of the engine ecu and immobilliser unit on my ford maverick? a 1997 2.7 swb, aspen.

The ECU is behind the black plastic centre dash, directly behind the ash tray, think the imobilizer is to the left hand side of the steering wheel

96 is correct but locating them will not help, there is no get round if yours is a round headlight motor, if early square is HL then most probably NATS 1 and I can tell you how to disable that but NATS 2 it is just not possible, Rick

The square headlight models were NATS 1 I believe, my 1st terrano was a 96 and that was NATS.
