Engine codes ?

Hi guys just wondering what the diffrence is between a zd30ddti engine and a td27ti.
I ask this question because i assumed that it was a 3litre and 2.7litre, but i seem too be mistaken, as my mistral has a zd30ddti engine, been working off the td27ti wiring and ecu diagram and got it all striped down tonight to find out the ecu diagram reffers too the zd30.

any ideas?

thanks jim, still in the dark a little, do you get 3.0 mistrals? its actually a 1997 on a P reg.

i always thought it was a 2.7?

Don't know enough about Mistrals but 3 litre Terranos were not made until about 2001.
Not sure where the engine number is but that may be a good idea as the engine number usually starts with the engine type.

Well I have striped down my ecu too
I have a ford maveric 97 2.7 tdi and a nissan manual and its the 3.o ecu
thats in my car.but in the Ford the color of the wiring is not the same
