my nearside mirror isn't working, is there anything obvious to look for? Thanks

if the off side is working then the changeover switch would be my first hit, Rick

I had same problems, It was the switch.

Remove it from the truck and take it in the house, clear a table and put some paper down, this is because it had springs inside it, dont worry though they dont bounce out, its just you dont want them dropping on the floor.

Inside is 2 sliders for each side, one will have come out of place, just re position it and put it back together. It really is a simple fix. Just dont drop owt on the floor.

His truck is 2004 wont be same as square one in yours

That is a very good point and im glad to see you were paying attention. :doh

So in the light of my error, i must confes to having no idea! :doh

I do feel that this error was made by a simple RTFPP problem and this will now be taken up with I.T on there return from lunch.

my switch doesn't look like this one:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TERRANO-P...s_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&hash=item256fb7c341

it has a round knob that selects left right or centre for off and it wobbles like a joy stick to move the mirrors. I can hear a relay clicking when i turn from left to centre or right to centre, but the mirror still doesn't move.

I stripped and cleaned the switch today and it all looks fine inside :nenau
