With all the talk on this great forum about running SVO this has got me thinking. :augie

I have been reading some sites about it it all and it seems the main problem to overcome is the injectors & Fuel pump issues.

Doing some basic maths running 20% svo with diesel. Would save me about £6.
And 50% svo would save about £15. Thats with the price of Svo of about 60p a litre in a 50l total quantity.

Would a electric fuel heater combat these issues + a little 2 stroke oil?
Or would the fuel between the heater -> fuel pump -> Injectors..
before starting which would be cold (cold start). Still cause problems?

I was reading on here and i got the rough idea it was 60p, If its more 85p then I will check before I decide anything. I will check my local bookers this week. :thumb2

Do you guys mean you get veg oil thats been processed for 81/85p? or just veg oil from like tesco etc?

I am not sure about wvo, Do you know what the quality is like from him.

WVO is ONLY for using to make biodiesel - only a twat puts it in his truck, filtered or otherwise. Its full of shite, animal fats and water, a lot of which you'll never get out.

Don't touch it with a bargepole.:thumbs

Ok checked my local booker, SVO is 82.9p per litre. :thumbs

Might look for a pre heater ready for when/if I decide to try SVO/Diesel.

start in summer...

thay way well not be bidding on the same pre heater..... LOL

true if you ad up the hours and power in making bio diesel, plus the cost of the kit and the space it takes up, it's got to be cheaper to just buy diesel :doh
