egr valve always open

any advice as to the effect on performance of the egr valve being always open, 2001 II 2.7 tdi commercial.

IIRC it'll be making your engine run lean as I had this prob on my old mondeo:augiebest bet would be to block it off as like in the downloads section:thumb2

are you going to have an EGR on that last a vehicle? worth checking..

it definitely has one,i think i read somewhere the the swb commercials were produced for the german market hence the egr valve.
