How hard can it be?
In theory, is it viable to change my old Zexel ecu for the newer bosch one:augie
I guess change loom pump and injectors and maf.
Wine thinking now :stupid

Yes, change engine bay loom, engine, Maf, and ecu.

Zexel ecu uses cam position sensor at 1/2 engine speed on the timing cover, bosch uses crank sensor at engine speed. Don't think there is a bellhousing bung on a zexel truck or vice versa??

You will also need to use the matching key / lock barrel with the new ecu from donor in order to deactivate the immobiliser.

Simples.

I think I love you :D
So crank sensor to sort then 60 extra GGs :naughty :bow

have a look on the zexel engine if there is provision for crank sensor on bell housing, but I bet you will need to install the bosch flywheel also (with the lugs on it for the sensor to read)

Ah rats was hoping to put a patrol flywheel on for bigger clutch:eek:
hmmmm
Could the cam crank sensor signal be tweeked somehow?
