ECU Location on Terrano II 2.7 TDI 2002

Can anyone help me locate the ECU on my Terrrano, it supposed to be under the front carpet area in the passenger footwell but I've looked there, behind the glove box and on the driver side without success. Any ideas ? :?

On my 1998 T2 it was at rear of the centre consul between the front seats.

the airbag contol unit has this spot on mine, I think I've found it behind the ash tray in the dash, but don't know how to get it out. :lol:

The engine ECU on my 01 T2 is behind the ashtray / radio center console, and its a right utter b1tch to get at, insofar as i gave up after dismantling most of the console and still failing to get at it!

Luckily it can be reprogrammed from the diagnostic socket...
