Easiest way to cut Pallets

Just been given permission to take about 50 pallets from work that need to be disposed of.

I'm going to make my own wood burner in the garden out of an old Calor Gas bottle and use it to heat my oil up to get rid of the water as mom is moaning about the bloody electricity bill with me using the immersion heaters.

What I want to know is whats the easiest and most efficient way of cutting the pallets up into nice 1ft planks to throw into the burner?

Axe? Saw? Brute Force? lol

circular saw, thats wht i use...

Circ saw, takes seconds and gets the sizes you want for your burner.
BUT why in the garden ? We use pallets and anything else INSIDE and so get free heat

I would advise filling the cylinder with water after you have removed the valve before you start cutting

Thats why i asked if they were euro pallets sell them for £5 each and buy diesel:thumbs

Some are some aren't didn't realise they fetched that much, might have to sell some

What size bottle did he use? 19kg? That's what I'm going to use, what does your grandad use it for?

Yeah I was advised to do that to purge all of the gases out

He used a 25 kg drum, its short and fat, he has burned garden rubbish in it and used it as a BBQ

It's just one of those white pallets and on the corner it will have "EUR" stamped on it, they are really hight quality wood

Ah not seen those :augie the ones I get are scabby spitty wood made by indybums and a nail gun that Arny would have loved :lol

as stinka says chainsaw wouldnt use circular saw if the pallet aint nailed very well saw will just keep snatching the timber but thats just my opinion darryl
