light came on and i lost accelarator pedal, i turned engine off and on twice and the pedal came back also whilest driving it was juddering like it had lost 10% power and then it would return.

any help would be very gratefull

give the throttle pedal sensor a squirt of wd 40.
it gets fluff and dirt etc stuck on it.
also check the maf sensor on the air box.
next time it does it pop the bonnet and unplug it to see if it makes any difference:nenau
its easy to do the fault codes as in the download but just keep count of the flashes.
i kept losing count so i did it about 10 times until i was getting a consistent number of flashes:doh
