Hi, Anybody got any tips on drivers side pre-tensioner seatbelt rewind not rewinding and nissan dealers say new seatbelt assy on back order from Japan wont be here till mid August, when I seggusted fitting a non-pre-tensioner seatbelt they said that airbag system would show a fault (light on dash) and not work correctly possibly a MOT fail :?: . looked at unit and only one connector so I guess SRS system looks at the resistance of the pre-tensioner, dont want to measure resistance with my multimeter as manual says dont use test equipment on SRS system, guess it could induce a signal and set tensioner off  , also reluctant to pull unit about to much, but willing to remove cover (tamper proof screws) if there is a possiblity that it is something stupid like a broken spring or something. Any ideas or advice would be great, MOT due 6th of August and don't want to be without the old girl for 7 to 14 days or more :( .
New to this so please excuse me if I havent followed protocol
Thanks,
Servicebilly

I got a rear seatbelt for my Mistral yesterday.

It looks a ring of car breakers have got together, type in the make and model of car and then scroll down the parts list untill you find what you need, click on the mouse a couple of times and wait for the breakers to contact you.

I posted mine very late last night and by 10 o'clock this morning had four breakers contact me with the part I needed. The first call was at five past nine, total price including vat and next day courier delivery was £38.

Hope this helps
