Just checked my nearside driveshaft and found that the outer rubber boot has split!
Intend to replace it tomorrow having bought new one from Milners today but wondered if there was any "tricks of the trade" to doing this.
I understand that the hub and brake disk have to come off and that you need to remove the drive shaft but how do you get the rubber boot actualy over the "knuckle" without buggering it up? Does the joint come apart so that you can slide the new rubber on?
Oh by the way its a terrano 3.0 litre sve 2003
"Ta" for any tips!
