We're having a bit of trouble with the door locks on our Maverick. The passenger one doesn't work with the key and the driver and rear doors are both fairly stiff when trying to turn them. I'm going to try getting some WD40/oil into them when I get a minute, but is there anything else that can be done? A couple of times last winter I had to climb in through the boot and open the door from the inside when the driver's lock had frozen, so anything to avoid that would be good :lol

Other than that and needing a new battery it's done pretty well after being SORNed for six months. It sailed through the MOT with only a couple of minor advisories and just needed the mini fuel filter cleaned as it was a bit sluggish.

yes oil them up, you can get a grafite base lock lube, much better, Rick

Frozen locks again this morning, so need to get round to sorting this soon :lol

What's the best way of getting access to the locks, I'm guessing the interior door panel will have to come off? It feels more like the mechanism in the door that's sticking rather than just the barrel.
